  • Queen's 1975 song "Bohemian Rhapsody" was re-released in 1992, following its appearance in the 1992 comedy film Wayne's World, starring Mike Myers and Dana Carvey.
  • Queen's guitarist also makes an appearance on this album, with his solo single "Driven By You".
  • The Temptations' 1964 song "My Girl" was given a re-release in 1992 as the title theme song from the 1991 romance film My Girl.
  • MC Hammer's "Addams Groove", from the 1991 children's horror film The Addams Family, won a Razzie Award for Worst Original Song.
  • The ad for NOw 21 became the first ad to feature English radio personality Mark Goodier, who would reguarlly voice the ads until NOW 94 twenty-four years later in 2016.
